Bio:
I am a nature and landscape photographer, primarily, resident in Brantford, Ontario, Canada and previously from Ventura, CA. I enjoy sharing my travel adventures. From my younger years in Northern Ontario (Canada) to now, I have had a deep passion for preserving the earth and sharing the beauty of Mother Nature. I hope to do my part in conserving our great planet by showing the beauty we have around us to inspire others to join in conserving our earth. With that in mind, I joined the group to "shoot" Juneau, Alaska and was greatly rewarded with a number of special moments. I am working on a book to share those moments soon. Also, I enjoy doing environmental portraits which portray a person doing what they love doing best. This helps me share my professional gifts with those who appreciate this option.
In June, 2009 I had two pictures published in the book "Ontario -Seasons of Discovery" which was a joint effort between the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation, The Magenta Foundation and the Globe and Mail. With over 1,000 entries in the contest and 9 jurors including Dean Black, Pres. & CEO of BLACK; Patricia D'Souza, Sr. Editor, Canadian Geographic Magazine; Liz Ikiriko, Photo Editor, Toronto Life Magazine; Erin Elder, Bus. Development, Digital Media, The Globe & Mail; Sophie Hackett, Assistant Curator, Photography, Art Gallery of Ontario; Clare Jordan, Director of Photography Magazines, The Globe and Mail; amongst others, I feel honoured to have been included in this publication.
I joined the group once again for the trip to San Diego, California and, again, can say I enjoyed myself immensely and came home with some great memories and shots. See the San Diego shots after the Juneau ones.
