Bio:
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., U.S.A. Raised in Englewood, N.J. Graduated Oglethorpe University, Atlanta, Ga. B.A. 1970. I have been shooting with Nikon Equipment, since I purchased my first Nikkormat FT in 1966. I love shooting pictures, of my friends and family. In addition, sporting event such as baseball, basketball, football, skiing. Not to mention the many trips and vacations we go on. I am also known as the official (unofficial) photographer of Shelter Rock Tennis Club, a tennis club, where I play tennis, in Manhasset, Long Island. I now live in Roslyn, N.Y. on Long Island with my wife Susan. We have 4 children, Mark, Leslie, Aviva and Reuben, who are all on their own, and have moved on . Photography is my passion, and I really enjoy shooting pictures and working with my equipment as much as I can. As I have not updated this bio since 2008, it is now almost 2010. Since my first trek in June of 2008 in Durango, Co., I have now been on 8 treks. The last being, Everglades, 2009. I can honestly say that I feel I have improved tremendously as a photographer. The mentors are all great photographers, and great people as well. I hope to continue to enjoy these treks, for as long as I can. JHK ( updated 12/09)
